He is the one with the glasses, Zack Peacock now either a dentist or mouth surgeon.
My dentist, also went to school with him at UCSF oddly enough.
His father was my dentist too.

This is Kelly, my cousin, when she was very young with her family dog.  She is now an Optometrist.

My long weekend reading.

I Know Where You Live!

This next pixel, is from a site(The Horrors of it All), that I have enjoyed for some time now. It host, a museum's worth of pre-code era, horror comics. On display for all to view. Its a great resource for these lost gems of the past. The color and art in these, are at a high point. Click on the image for link to site.

SAN FRANCISCO: view from Mount Tampias, September 26th, 2010
A hot and sweaty walk up a former railroad for tourist trips long ago to the
redwoods. It is now a wide flat dirt road. This was a mountain that had a
inn, with lofts located on side of mountain, viewing into the forest. They
also had a bar at the top. We didn't find this on our walk but was told it
had burned down twice. As we looked at pictures of it in a tour guidepost.
The Inn though, off of the Boot Jack Trail does do pancake breakfast
Sundays. These are on certain Sundays on a schedule at Inn.

11:00 am Sunday view of San Francisco coastline fog low
and "burning off," as the forecasters says.

TVglitztchLostwits H-MAN

The Title
I had just seen this great hidden gem called The H-Man of 1958 by the film director
Ishiro Honda. Its a noir Sci-Fi themed story of the police investigating disappearances.
They find a radioactive sludge that moves on its own and absorb human flesh.
here is a trailer made by a fan that gives you a good idea at least.

The next two are short scenes you can view for further curiosity enjoyment. the first is the
opening scene and the second is a dance scene that is pretty rad to see unfold. Looks like an
early influence on the New Wave Cinema. Everything so well choreographed in these scenes.

Dennis Hopper talks to Charlie Rose in the 1990s,

I found this to be interesting in that Hopper mentions the struggle he went through to get where he is/was (R.I.P.), during these 3 interviews with Rose. He went 8 years of not acting much because of adopting James Dean's persona. This was all after appearing in 2 stellar films with Dean. He became too much of a tyrant for directors, with his new style of acting. He would only have it done his way, but minus the star power at the time.
I like the quote at the end, about his career being built out of failure. It stood out and was in particular reassuring to have doubt. I prefer his acting in his more troubled times though, such as in Out of the Blue. He had a raw presence on the screen. Rest in peace Mr. Hopper.

Feeling like a monster today from a misunderstanding yesterday.
